In memoriam of Lonnie Bristor

Edward A. “Lonnie” Bristor, 91, died Friday in his hometown of Washington, Pennsylvania. Bristor was a 1999 PONY Wall of Fame inductee, as well as a 2004 winner of the Joe E. Brown Fellowship Award. These are two of the highest accomplishments that members of PONY Baseball and Softball can receive. In addition to being a PONY Field Director, Bristor managed, coached and volunteered with Washington Youth Baseball for over 50 years. He was also on the board of directors of World Series Tournaments, Inc., the host organization of the Pony League World Series. He will be forever missed.
